School Captain's Forum - Friday 14 August 2009
On Friday the 14 August 2009 Tasmanian Catholic school captains (primary and secondary) assembled for a forum at St Patrick's College. The theme for this proposal is “Tasmanian Catholic Education 2020 – What the next generation of Catholic Parents and Friends hope for from Catholic Education”.
This event was supported by the Tasmanian Catholic Education Office and was part of the Tasmanian Catholic Education Week 2009 celebrations.
This was a unique opportunity for school leaders to participate in what they think Catholic Education should look like in the future and provide some guidance to education planners and leaders to the future of Catholic Education in Tasmania. This was a great event to close off Catholic Education week 2009 then to celebrate “Tasmanian Catholic Education 2020 – What the next generation of Catholic Parents and Friends hope for from Catholic Education”.
